On Friday, October 13, ASB hosted a rally to get students excited for the homecoming football game. Destiny, the ASB president, announced all the volleyball and football players. She then explained to everyone that there would be a class versus class “Over and Under” competition. A bunch of students came to the court and wanted to play but there were too many, so Destiny told everyone to have Freshman and Seniors compete against each other. In the meanwhile, a Freshman named Chip saw a ball coming at him and he caught the ball with his hands. Another Freshman named Fin threw a ball and hit 3 Senior students, Luckily a Senior named Troy had a fast pitching arm and was able to hit multiple people with his fast throws. Later on, the Seniors won the match against the Freshmen.
The next match was between the Sophomores and the Juniors, A Junior named Anthony Bonelli dodged the ball with quick speed. Later on, Anthony turned around and got hit on his back as he tried to get the ball. It was a close call. At the end of the match between the Sophomores and Juniors, there was 1 player left on the sophomore team which was Jayden Xiong. As the time came he waited for the Juniors to throw the ball, he got the chance to throw the ball and the ball went to Naomi Warshawer. She caught the ball and made Jayden lose the status of being the only person standing on the Sophomore team. Juniors won the match against the Sophomore and now it was the Seniors and Juniors going against each other. As the match began, Hayden used someone as a shield so he wouldn’t get hit by the ball as the ball came towards him. During the match, Hayden got the ball by his side, then once he threw the ball he got hit on his leg. Throughout the game, the Juniors seemed to have the advantage. Troy was on the bench since he got hit, but then he yelled for his teammates to win and to get the people on the other side. In the close game, the Seniors lost when Daniel was the one left standing on the senior's team.
