The School Plan for Student Achievement is intended to continually support student’s academic, behavioral, and social emotional growth. This plan includes providing students with online or in person academic support, behavior interventions, and restorative discipline practices. Other actions include a social emotional curriculum and individual counseling. MVUSD’s federal dollars are spent on academic improvement interventions, the State Standards curriculum, professional development for teaching students in poverty or learning English. Other priorities include improving the school environment, getting parents to participate, and being persistent with student services.
MVUSD and the Watershed Center have been collaborating for almost 21 years now to give children the opportunity to attend Indian Valley Summer Camp. This year, camp will be happening June 19-June 30. Indian Valley Summer Camp provides children with outdoor recreational and learning activities, such as rafting, volunteer opportunities, arts and crafts, teamwork building exercises, and learning more about nature.
Resolution 2022 / 23-09 gives MVUSD the ability to have suitable school facilities. This allows MVUSD to keep high-quality facilities and education by rebuilding them as needed as well as buying new equipment.
At the time of the board meeting, enrollment at each site was as follows:
