A Q&A with December Student of the Month: Lilly Napier

Lilly Napier is a senior who was picked by the students of Hayfork High School for the Timberline "Student of the Month" for December. 

What are some of your best accomplishments?

Some of Lilly’s accomplishments are being able to handle being the ASB president, president of her class , getting ready for college, and having a job after school everyday all at once.                                                                                                                                                                                                 

Which class do you believe showcases your skills best?

The class that showcases one of Lilly’s skills best is math because it’s interesting, fun, and she’s really good at it when she tries. 

Who are your role models and why?

Lilly's mom and dad are her role models. Her parents are her best friends and show and teach her many responsibilities. They also have the best work ethic she has ever seen. She loves them very much. 

What are your main motivations?

Her main motivation is thinking about the future she wants and the people around her that push her to achieve her goals. 

After graduation, what do you plan to accomplish?

Lilly plan’s to attend either Chico State or Southern Oregon University to major in criminal justice and criminology and she will receive her bachelor's degree.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Lilly sees herself starting a family and succeeding her goals which would be working with law enforcement and children. 

What are some ways you unwind or relax after a hard day’s work?

Lilly talks to her mom about her day and gets advice if Lilly is stressing about something. Talking to her parents always helps her relax.

If you could have a superpower what ability would it be?

Lilly would like to be able to read minds, she thinks it’ll be fun.

If you could have dinner with anyone, who would you choose and why?

She would choose her Grandpa Chad because she doesn’t remember who he was as she was just a baby, and because of it she would love to get to know him better face to face in person today.
