The seniors won homecoming week with 300 points.

Hayfork High’s seniors grilled the rest of the classes in the 2022 homecoming competition. The seniors, with a total of 300 points, won one out of five dress up days, which were worth 25 points each day; three out of four lunchtime activities, which were also worth 25 points each day; the float competition at 100 points for first place, and powerball, which was worth another 100 points.
The freshmen came in second place with 250 points, winning one of the dress up days and powderpuff with the juniors. In third place was the sophomores with 225 points. They won three of the dress up days, one of the lunchtime activities, and the final rally chant. At fourth place was the juniors with 200 points, winning the penny war competition and powderpuff with the freshmen.
For the homecoming court coronation, Siena Yang was pronounced as homecoming queen and Charlie Vang as homecoming king. Shiloah Colby and Trenton Haight along with Iris Coty and Noah Fielding were part of the 12th grade homecoming prince and princesses. The 11th grade princess was Jacey Pickett with Ely Medellin as the prince. Samarah Rhodes was the 10th grade princess and Buddy Miller was her prince. For the 9th grade class, Riley Bayley was the princess and Fred Raines was the prince.
Looking further into the 2022-23 school year, ASB has planned “Jack Pride” competitions for the school year. Every other Friday, students will wear Jack-wear or the school colors of black and red. ASB will also put on monthly pep rallies. The next pep rally is on October 28 and will include class competitions. Each rally is worth $25 to the class that wins the most competitions within the rally.
