Hayfork was scheduled to host Princeton in its league finale, but the Eagles do not have enough players to finish the season and have to forfeit. So, Hayfork will finish the regular season as league champions in the Division II Nor Cal 8 Man League. We will wait to see how the other games finish on Friday night and to see where we will be scheduled for the playoffs. We will play the teams from Division I in the playoffs (Tulelake, Chester, Burney, Loyalton). Big Valley from Division II will be the #4 seed. Hayfork will more than likely receive the #3 seed. Unless there is a change to the format, the Timberjacks will host a first round playoff game on Friday, November 3rd, at 6:00pm. We are definitely motivated for the playoffs. We want to keep improving and peak at playoff time. Our kids have had a great season, but we are not satisfied with a league title. I am proud of their efforts this year and look forward to the playoffs next week.
