Hayfork made the long trek to Happy Camp and came away with a 46-0 victory. The Timberjacks got off to a quick start with a 35 yard TD run by Anthony Bonelli on the second play from scrimmage. Levi Cavalli added the 2 point conversion and it was 8-0. After a quick possession and punt by Happy Camp, Cavalli scored on a 30 yard TD run. Devin Nanez ran in the 2 point play and it was 16-0. After a fumble by Happy Camp, Nanez scored on a 39 yard TD run and the score at the end of the first quarter was 22-0. Hayfork got the ball back to start the second quarter, and scored on a 25 yard TD run by Nanez. Nanez added the 2 point run and it was 30-0. Cavalli then scored on a 45 yard TD run and also added the 2 point play to make it 38-0. Hayfork closed out the scoring at the end of the half on a 40 yard interception return by Cavalli. Mukeng Yang ran in the 2 point conversion and the halftime score was 46-0. Happy Camp called it a night as they forfeited the second half, and the game was over. Hayfork only ran nine offensive plays on the night and scored on five of them. Nanez had 85 yards on 3 carries and two TDs. Cavalli had 90 yards on 3 carries and two TDs. Bonelli had 52 yards on 2 carries and one TD. Defensively, Aidan Lorton had 5 tackles (4 solo) and a sack. Cavalli had the interception return for a TD, and Evan Pickett had a sack and fumble recovery. The Timberjacks are now 5-0 (2-0 in League) and look to go to 6-0 against Westwood this Friday night. It's Homecoming week for Hayfork, so it should be a big crowd.
